A native of Clay Center, Dr. Kerry Carlson attended Emporia State University and graduated from the University Of Nebraska College Of Dentistry in 1988. He furthered his education by completing a one year residency at Oklahoma City’s St. Anthony Hospital where he broadened his skills and focused on handling complex dental cases. Following residency, he returned to the area and joined Dental Associates of Manhattan in 1989. After 22 years of practice, Dr. Carlson wanted to explore new opportunities where he could continue to grow as a dentist utilizing the latest in technologies available. He was drawn to the more progressive practice at Salina Dental Arts and joined the group in 2011. Dr. Carlson attributes the leadership and guidance of mentors Drs. Charlie Hughes and Jerry Pettle to his success and is forever grateful for sharing of their expertise.
Dr. Carlson is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Northwest Golden Belt, numerous study clubs and continuums. His outside activities are centered on his three children – Zac, Haleigh and Jake – as well as golf, K-State events and spending time with extended family and friends.
