Dr. C.A. Ritter Jr. said Dr. Ferson and other Salina dentists encouraged his interest in dentistry. A life-long resident of Salina, he graduated from Sacred Heart High School and Kansas Wesleyan University. He is a 1979 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School.
Dr. Ritter and his wife, Cheryl, a first grade teacher at Meadowlark School, are raising three sons: Chuck, Ross and Rex. “Cheryl and I returned to Salina principally as our family ties are here. We enjoy the community and the opportunity to raise our sons in the area,” he said. Along with continuing education courses, Dr. Ritter holds memberships to ADA, KDA, Northwest-Golden Belt District and Salina Dental Society. He is active in the Boy Scouts program and plays trombone in a band. Also, he enjoys outdoor activities, especially cycling.
